Video Submission Guide

MOVEMENT ANALYSIS

Film one attempt. Make the movement easy to read.

Clear, considered footage helps the coach understand how you move, make decisions and respond to a problem on the wall.

A simple filming checklist

  • Keep one attempt in each uncut clip; aim for 60 seconds or less.
  • Frame the climber and enough of the wall to see the holds, feet and movement.
  • Include the full attempt from the start through the finish or fall.
  • Failed attempts and selected repeats can be useful context. Every submitted file, including repeats, counts toward the offer allowance.
  • Avoid capturing other people unnecessarily. Ask permission before recording identifiable climbers.

How many clips?

  • CLIMBIA Training: no regular movement-video allowance.
  • CLIMBIA Performance: up to 8 submitted clips per month.
  • CLIMBIA Competition: up to 16 submitted clips per month.
  • CLIMBIA Movement Assessment: approximately 5–6 clips for the one-off review.

Private video delivery

The coach provides the private per-athlete submission instructions after enrolment. Do not upload athlete footage to a public folder or include private health information in a public link.
